Snapshots

Hey, guys!  I know it's been a few weeks since I lasted posted, but I'm back! I took an unexpected break from blogging and I feel refreshed and ready to jump back in!  We've had quite a bit going on since I was last here.  Poesy started 1st grade at a sweet, small school up the street from us and she's absolutely loving it.  We went for an open house recently and it made me so proud to see the way she interacted with the teachers and the other students.

Kitten update: We kept two of the kittens from the litter and the rest found good homes.  I've visited a couple of them and it's fun to watch them grow.  I'll share pictures of our babies here soon.  And if you're wondering, Moonstone hasn't returned.  Wherever she is, I hope she is safe and happy.

Hope has decided to go sanctioned in gymnastics this year, so once competition season starts we will be traveling a lot for her meets.  She was sanctioned several years back and had a hard season, so I'm proud of her for being willing to give it another go.  The time commitment is hard enough, let alone the physical demands.  If she's mentally ready for it again, I know she'll do great.

I finally bit the bullet and got myself a new camera and I'm loving it so far!  These are just some random peeks around my house that I took with my 7D.  The quality difference makes me so happy! I definitely feel inspired to shoot more... which is awesome because this is a great time of year for that.
