Weekly Wears: Magical Mint

I spent last weekend in Kansas City with some of my best gal pals eating and shopping and having the best time.  We were in one of our favorite shops when I walked out of the fitting room in this dress, and one of them exclaimed, "It's magical!"  How do you NOT buy the dress after someone says that?!

Since I've gone through the hair change, I've been having a hard time dressing myself.  I know that sounds kinda dumb, but I'm not sure what colors work with this new hair.  (The first photo most accurately shows the color.)  As a person who is drawn to reds and oranges in clothing, this pink/red thing is throwing me for a loop.  Don't get me wrong, I love the change, but I was happy to find something minty and wonderful that works with all of those colors.

It feels like I've been living out of a suitcase this summer with all of our out-of-town shows and whatnot.  I'm looking forward to fall, when things slow down just a little.  Before that, though-- we have a summer vacation to enjoy!  Happy Wednesday, friends!

    I believe in the power of the magic dress! It's such a good feeling when you find "the one" and your dress is super pretty, magical, and ethereal. Mint happens to be one of my my favorite colors :-)
