Midsummer Dream Treats
What do you look for in clothing that makes a piece fall into that category of "truly special"? It could be fabric or print or fit for me-- but it has to have that something about it. This summer I've acquired a few dresses that will be worn for years to come, and this Family Affairs dress is at the top for me. It's comfy, unique, and the print is just so, so lovely. I'm excited to be a part of the Midsummer Dream Treat days, and today this dress is marked down to $70 (from $239!!) as a special summer time celebration! If you are interested in this beautiful Clyde Dress, use the code midsummerdreamtreatskunkboy to take advantage of this crazy sale!
Dress: c/o Family Affairs; Necklace: ModCloth; Shoes: Worishofer via ModCloth (last year); Sunglasses: Quay c/o ModCloth; Watch: c/o Wood Watches by Jord
Also, guys: I'm wearing a watch. I haven't worn a watch in yeeeearrrssss. This lovely watch is made by Jord, and they are based out of St. Louis! That's where most of my family is from! I couldn't say no to a lovely, classic wooden watch from one of my favorite cities! Plus, the face is pink. They had me at pink.
Our family has some fun stuff coming up this summer, and the months are speeding by! I have a fun girls' weekend at the end of July, we are taking a family vacation for the first time in a few years, and Hope is going to be turning THIRTEEN! What?! Time is crazy. I can't even wrap my brain around it sometimes.
Have a wonderful weekend, friends! xo.
**You can see my other favorite Family Affairs pieces here, here, and here. My little collection is growing!

I love the red sandals. I need to dig mine out of the closet. They add just the right amount of pop!
