Last week I took Poesy on her promised "big girl date". She was adamant that our date was going to be a "looooooonnnnggggg walk". On this very long walk, on this unseasonably warm day, we stopped in for treats at one of our favorite places, Elle's Pattisserie, and ended the date sipping fresh lemonade at another neighborhood favorite, Tea Bar and Bites.
Poesy paid for her own treats and had a blast sitting outside on the patio with her fancy drink. Such a sweet time. :)

Could this be any sweeter? I love it so much. One of my favorite thing is having one-on-one time with my babies. I think it's important for them but it sure is therapeutic for me. With the hustle and bustle of just living and having more than one kid it's hard to give that focused attention they deserve. Day dates like this are so utopian. Lovely colors and photos. I'm glad you girls had a sweet time!
