Weekly Wears: Collections

Weekly Wears Weekly Wears Weekly Wears Weekly Wears Weekly Wears Weekly Wears Weekly Wears
I've been doing my best to acquire quality sweaters this winter.  Sweaters can be on the pricey side, so choosing pieces that I'll want to wear again and again is key.  The sweater I'm wearing in these photos is great with dresses or with jeans, and it basically feels like wearing a blanket.  Basically, all you have to say to me is "wearable blanket" and I'm sold.  ;)  Other than this one, I bought myself two really warm lighter colored sweaters and asked for all the cashmere stuff for Christmas.  I also wear this one like crazy.  My sweater collection is growing nicely.

Sweater: c/o ModCloth;  Dress: c/o PS I Adore You;  Tights: Target;  Shoes: Seychelles;  Hat: ASOS;  Necklace: Free People (old);  Purse: Angela & Roi

I think this is the first bodycon dress I've ever owned.  To be honest, I've always been a bit scared of them, but this one is super stretchy and comfy, and throwing a sweater over it is perfect for these colder days.  I'm not claiming to be a convert just yet, but I do really like this particular dress.  :)

I hope you are having a good week, friends.  xo.

  1. I love the pops of colour you've incorporated with the bright tights and bag! You look so comfortable and chic here.

Did you get a hair cut or is it just curled a little differently? Either way, it looks great!

    1. I curled it differently! I've been feeling the need to switch it up lately-- possibly doing something a little drastic. Who knows-- maybe!

  2. Such a cute outfit, I absolutely love the bright blue tights with the more muted colours of the rest of the outfit. xxx

  3. Haha. The stripes and colors and boots made me think of the Wizard of Oz. Maybe because the witch had those black and white striped tights with black boots? Love the sweater AND the dress regardless.

  5. very nice outfit.
I was scared of bodycons too!! Especially ones with horizontal lines. I just bought my first black bodycon dress last year. I really like it but obviously don't always have the confidence to wear it.
Like most things I own, which is why I do so few outfit pictures at the moment..
confidence comes with age, let's hope.

  7. I'm totally scared of bodycon dresses. I do have one that is pretty forgiving, but most are a no. That one looks great on you though, I love the length and the pattern. And your color pairings are killer!
