I almost left my DSLR at home for our vacation to Costa Rica. I figured it would be really fun to have film photos only when we got home, but I got too nervous that something would happen to the film and decided both cameras were a good idea. I'm really glad I brought the digital along as well, because even though these photos are fun, they don't capture the beauty of the area like the other camera did.
I had fewer gems in this roll than I've had in my last few rolls. I really think that's because I shot all of these in the span of a week and I usually take a month or more to finish a roll. I guess it's time to start a new camera! Remember, if you are playing along, use the hashtag #disposablechallenge on Instagram to share with everyone!
I love these perfectly imperfect shots. So special!

I LOVE this idea! I'm definitely going out and buying one today! I've gotten so accustomed to my DSLR that I forgot about the beauty of a disposable, I look forward to this challenge!
ReplyDeleteI used to love my disposable cameras! It was so much fun getting them developed because I forgot I took over half of the pictures so some were a fun surprise. But it was also a bummer because you couldn't tell if someone closed their eyes or made a weird face. haha!
ReplyDeleteI think I say this every time, but film never gets old! These photos are magic.
ReplyDeleteDid you use the flash on the one in the pool and on the beach??
