We had a busy weekend over here-- The Mixtapes had back-to-back Friday/Saturday shows. We played outdoors downtown on Friday, so the girls got to come and see us. They got their faces painted and sang along with all the songs, so it was a pretty great time. We spent Sunday spoiling Johnny for Father's Day, so all-in-all it was a good and eventful weekend. How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? I'll be taking part of today and setting it aside for relaxing!! I missed that part of the weekend! xo.
You are so lovely! I love your style! You have a great blog and such a lovely family!
ReplyDeleteLove from Minneapolis!
Fun! That's so cool your girls got to hear you play. Your weekend sounds busy but fun. I made a really fun chevron canvas DIY (I have the steps on my blog if anyone's interested) which was just the craft project I needed -- I was craving an art project.
ReplyDeleteGarfield is the best! I used to check out all the comic books from the library and read them cover to cover.
Super rad dress! Love the faded bleach effect. :] // itsCarmen.com ☼
ReplyDeleteGreat dress!
ReplyDeleteJust finished watching American Blogger- loved your interview. It was really neat to hear what your voice sounds like after reading your blog for so long.

ReplyDeleteI love this outfit. I am actually sporting the same hairstyle this morning on my little blog...it is the best when my hair is feeling limp :)

Oh I love that dress! And those sunglasses. My weekend itself was pretty uneventful. Ran errands, got water ice, had dinner with the family-- but today my boyfriend and I took my new camera and went to one of our favorite museums! So that made up for a not-very-fun weekend.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week! Sometimes a slow Monday makes for a very inspiring Tuesday!

Yes, I love this reference. I too checked all of the Garfield books out of the library as a kid. He is the perfect spirit animal:)

The way you've got your hair styled in these photos is one of the reasons I am growing my hair again after being a short-hair kind of girl for a few years :) I also happen to love your tattoo. It's so beautiful and unique. (I also love the one on your arm but that I had seen already!)
ReplyDeleteI love those sunglasses and your hair! So cute!
