Weekly Wears: Bowl of Cherries



I planned to do a couple of outfit posts while we were in Costa Rica, but I honestly just never felt like it.  Hey, it was vacation and I wanted a real break, I guess.  ;)  It feels good to be getting back into the swing of everything.  I don't love rigid routines, but I do like a little consistency.

It's officially summer and we are excited!  I love swimming, but CANNOT do it when the water is even remotely chilly.  That means I only swim when it is sweltering outside.  I'm ready for some pool parties and a million bowls of cherries.  Cherries in the summer make me so very happy.  They are one of my favorite summer traditions.  How about you?  What's your favorite thing about your current season?

    Such a cute outfit! I absolutely adore the necklace.

    My favorite thing about summer used to be pool time! But since I've moved and no longer know anyone with a pool, my favorite thing about summer is cool mornings. I love going out early and playing tennis with my husband. :) Also, watermelon. Mmmmmm.

    I love that thought: "I don't love rigid routines, but I do love consistency." I feel the same way.

    Cherries and pool parties sounds so much fun! Cherries are the best (right after huckleberries, which come in the spring)!

    Last summer was first time i tried cherries in a long time, i hated them as a kid, i'm so glad i gave them a second chance. Blueberries have always one of my favorite things about summer.

    I love cherries too as well as other summer fruits like melons and peaches, yummie!
    I also like that there is more light in a day and that I can wake up with the sound of birds and the wind breezing en chilling outside with people you love and of course a lot of ice cream :D

    I'm the same, cherries are just the best gosh darn thing to eat in the summer! I love the little cutout in that dress, it's so beautiful! And the photo of those daisies is beautiful.

    My favorite thing about summer are the weekend outings with my hubby and son to the park or just being able to go for a walk.

    Mmmmm, cherries. I really wish they weren't $15 a bag at the stores around here. :( I've never been big on summer until this year, but I've always loved making homemade popsicles around this time of year. And, of course, going to the beach.
