Our Costa Rica Getaway Pt. 2

As promised, here are some more snaps from our vacation.  We spent a day in Montezuma, hiking to the waterfalls.  Actually, I bailed early on the hike because I was wearing saltwater sandals and not keeping up very well.  I made it to the first waterfall, but Elsie and I turned back and sat seaside while everyone else finished their hike.  Sandals + hiking = no good.  Though, Emma was also wearing Saltwaters and she stuck it out like a boss.  She's tough.

Tourists, man...

Some of you were curious about where we stayed-- our house was in Mal Pais, but several of these photos were taken in Montezuma.  It really was an amazing time in such a beautiful place.  Costa Rica blew my mind-- it seemed as though every tree had gorgeous flowers or perfectly painted leaves, every insect was kind of adorable... heck, even the squirrels there were about the prettiest things I've ever seen.  I truly loved Costa Rica and I will definitely make it a point to visit again.

    I have to know where you got the light blue ruffled top and the blue bottoms. I must have that swimsuit. You guys wore the cutest swimsuits!

    Wow. This looks like my kind of vacation. I've never been to Costa Rica, but it looks absolutely gorgeous. Also, sandals or no, I always choose beach sitting over hiking.

    Oh man, those waves are seriously no joke! My 2-year-old nephew almost got engulfed by one but we picked him up just in time!

    That place looks wonderful! I usually just take my sandals off because my feet start slipping in them, which is not good at all, and go barefoot :)
