DIY Eye Clock From A Wire Hanger

You can just go ahead and add me to the giant number of people who are drawn to things with eyes and hands.  Home decor, a print on a dress or scarf, you name it, and if it features one of these things, I'll probably be in love with it.  I came across this clock while browsing Pinterest recently and I decided to that an eye clock was just what my home was missing.  :)

Supplies you will need:  wire hanger, clock kit, foam board (mine was holographic!), black felt or card stock, compass or something round to trace around, box cutter, hot glue gun

Step 1: take your wire hanger and bend the hook part into the center.  Step 2: use your compass (or jar lid, bowl, etc) to draw a circle onto your foam board.  Step 3: cut out the circle and punch a hole in the center.  I smoothed the edges of mine with fine grit sandpaper.  Using black felt or card stock, cut out a smaller circle to sit in the middle of the foam circle.  Step 4: put your clock kit together with the circles and hot glue the back of the clock to the hook part of the hanger.  I painted my hanger black, but this step is optional.

This is a pretty simple DIY that you can complete in an hour or so.  I'm a big fan of quick and easy DIYs and this one is the perfect addition to my little desk setup.  :)

Happy Monday, friends!
