Weekly Wears: Cuts Like A Knife

The weather yesterday was the kind of chilly that cuts straight through your clothes and makes your eyes all teary.  I brought my umbrella out with me, and in a moment of carelessness, left it sitting open on the ground.  The wind picked it up and the umbrella took off... and if you would've been there, you would have seen me running across a big open lot trying to catch up with that sucker.  Every time I would get close the wind would pull it a different direction.  I've always been a little clumsy, but it was the kind of thing that had me cracking up at myself.  Oh man.  ;)

  1. I once littered the entire front lawn of my high school with wind-caught papers from my binder. What a sight that must have been as a ran past the floor-to-ceiling library windows with arms flailing, trying to grab my homework from the sky like one of those money booths you see on game shows - in front of the entire fleet of buses. Classic.

At least you were more stylishly dressed than I. I love the pop of color from those boots!

    Cheers!

  17. Lovely outfit! The print on that dress is so unique. Ahhh, I can very much picture that same umbrella incident happening to me! I have had so many similar incidents that I'm fairly certain my umbrella just doesn't like me.

  18. You hair color stands out so beautifully against the color of that jacket. I've also known that redheads look good in green, but goddamn woman, you look stunning!

Also loving those booties, such a unique color for leather winter shoes.
