Weekly Wears: Nerding Out

I was like a child at Christmas on Tuesday.  The new Mazzy Star album was finally released and I rushed over to pick it up as soon as I possibly could.  There aren't a ton of things in life that I totally nerd out about, but this is definitely one on my short list.  I've been listening to this band since I was a young high school kid, mine and Johnny's song is "Flowers in December", and my kid is named after Hope Sandoval.  I just laid all my dorky cards on the table for you.

Dress: Onze;  Shirt: c/o ModCloth;  Knee Socks: H&M;  Boots: c/o ModCloth;  Glasses: c/o BonLook (Martha in Olive)

Anyway, this album is gold (well, really it's purple).  I am a happy camper.

  2. I am dying to go to a record store and pick up some album's. We have vintage vinyl her in stl. I need to make a trip over there. But before that, I need a new needle for my record player. Do you know if you can order them onine? or is there a shop in springfield that sells them. I'm going to be down there in a couple of weeks.

  11. I adore this outfit, and I think you nerding out over this is adorable, and sharing it with us is even better. Of course I did name my dog after Howl Jenkins of Howl's Moving Castle.

  19. I love Mazzy Star! Sadly, their tour doesn't extend to the UK, but I've ordered the LP. I love that Hope is named after Hope Sandoval, she's an idol of mine.

  20. So, you may have changed my life with this post. Checked out Mazzy Star. I'd never heard of them, considering I spent most of the my musical nineties memorizing Hanson lyrics and Spice Girls dance moves... But I digress.. Mazzy Star: LOVE... lu-hooooveeee...laouve....lurrrrve... so wonderful. TY for the recommendation.Evenings on my porch are now a little more magical.
