Our neighborhood had a fun little July 4th parade yesterday morning. People got all dressed up, there were snacks and drinks, and we got to meet more lovely people from our neighborhood. Some highlights: Poesy finding a sprinkler along the way and Hope looking like the Independence Day fairy. I love how much she loves holidays.
After the parade Johnny's folks came to town and we spent the rest of the day at a baseball game and watching fireworks. It was a really great day with perfect weather. You really can't even ask for more!
I also wanted to thank everyone who commented and sent emails regarding my grandma. It's true that saying goodbye is a part of life, but it's also true that it isn't easy. I really appreciate all of thoughtful messages. She is definitely going to be missed.
adorable photos! i love all your outfits :)
