Garden Helper

The girls have been having a lot of fun helping with the flowers and fruit we planted last weekend.  We go out everyday to check to see if there is any progress and sprinkle a little water on our new friends.  I know it's possible that they'll lose interest once the garden isn't quite so new, but right now I'm so happy they're so into it.  We have a long way to go, a lot more weeding to do, and more veggies to plant in the boxes, but I'm excited about our small beginnings.

    so precious! i think if they lose interest, it will definitely be regained once they start seeing fruits and veggies popping out of plants.

    How sweet! I remember helping my parents with our garden when I was really little. Your girls are lucky to have a mom who encourages them to try new things! :)

    Very cool! My mom and I always plant new things every spring. Is that Lithodora I see? We planted some last spring and thought it died over winter, but it came back beautifully! The blooms are all a shade darker and it hangs over the pot we have it in. We bought more this year to add to it!

    I love to see how gardens grow. Good luck with your garden!

    You captured the moment so well. Love the colors. I can't wait to do this with my son. He's 10 months and flowers are about to bloom. Hopefully by September he'll be to help me pick strawberries and whatnot. Yay! (:
