I've had this serious urge to cut my hair off lately. I think I'm just needing a change, but whatever the reason, I know myself well enough to know this is a bad idea! I love short hair on other people, but I always find an up-do that works for my short hair and wear it like that until it grows out (which takes a looooonnnnnggggg time). So, for now I'm tricking myself by wearing my hair up everyday. Maybe it's time for some new bangs or fancy hair accessories. ;)
I'm starting to get a full roster of custom animals rolling in and I can't wait to share some of the things I'm working on. One is Cinderella inspired and so precious!
Love this look! you're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI adore that dress! I managed to buy something similar at a vintage fair recently & the colours are making me lust for summer weather. The tights & cardigan are gorgeous with yours.
ReplyDeleteLooking lovely :)

I've been having the same urge to cut my hair really short! But like you said, it just won't work on me.
ReplyDeleteI could've sworn that dress was vintage :) love the pin too!
ReplyDeletelove your hair! don't go for the chop. i have short hair and at times wish it was longer...then as soon as i have started to grow it, i chop the lot off!
ReplyDeletei like your style so much! hugs and kisses from italy! miky
ReplyDeleteOh you look so beautiful! And please don't cut your hair, I love it long~

Very cute Katie! Your hair is amazing. I love the color. =D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I know what you mean about short hair, I always manage to trick myself into thinking 'this time will be different, I'll love it' and then I want my long hair back after a day...that's what happened this time anyway :)

That dress is adorable, I love the combination of all the springy colors. I've been going through the same thing with my hair. I've experiment a little with faux bobs. But mostly I have to remind myself that I can't cut it, not matter how cut I think it should look.

Ooh! I love that gorgeous dress, and it looks great on you! <3
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely guilty of cutting my hair shorter when should leave it longer. :-P I'm just so fickle! Luckily I've never cut it TOO short.
I cant wait to see the custom animals! Especially the Cinderella inspired one, I'm a bit obsessed with Disney.
ReplyDeleteI am loving those heart tights! So lovely!

Maybe try changing your hair a different way, like maybe just a different style cut while keeping it long, or meet in the middle and do a medium cut? I would say you could dye it but your red hair is so pretty!

You are adorable, Katie.
ReplyDeleteHehe, I think even I'd shed a tiny tear if you cut your hair short, it's so gorgeous ;)
Love the hearts!

I go through cycles of growing my hair out really long and then chopping it all off. I always regret chopping it off after a few days. ;) Love those tights!

I am the same way with my hair! But I always wear it up, so I should probably just cut it. Ha. But the updo looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the animals!
I do the same thing. Whenever I cut my hair, I always, always always decide I want my hair long again after about 3 weeks of short hair. Then I end up hating it while it's in the in between stage where it's not short enough to really look cute and not long enough to look intentionally long.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors on the dress :) simply darling

beautiful dress
ReplyDeleteAh, love the brooch! And your hair. I'm the opposite. I always want to grow mine out...knowing full well that it's fine and limp and I'll just cut it off. Remember those playdough toys where you could push the dough through the head to make the hair grow back in seconds? Sigh.
ReplyDeleteDon't do it! I always get that itch this time of year, and every time I follow through with it I spend the next 8 months to a year whining about my hair. Plus, you've got such lovely locks, it'd be a shame to wack em off.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is darling, as well.

THAT DRESS!!! AH. xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteSuch a babe! You look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see some of the new creatures you're working on.
Super cute outfit, I love the cardi!
ReplyDeleteI think that you are one of those people who could literally have any color and cut of hair and still look amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI keep having this dream I cut my hair into a pixie cut and dye it blonde (my hair is as long as yours and brunette). However, I am pregnant and that could def. be the hormones talking-plus I have heard never to make major hair changes while pregnant?! who knows!
Good luck with whatever hair change or accessory purchase you go with ;)

I just love all your outfits! The heart sweater is adorable and that dress is so perfect paired with the black cardigan! Super cute!

You're not alone! I totally know the "wouldn't it be awesome if I cute all my hair off" feeling. I am scared that one day I will give into it because I know (from experience) that I would regret it.
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit!!! P.S I'm waiting for my hair to grow. It takes forever :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a killer backdrop for a photo! These are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress and cardi combo.
ReplyDeleteAs for the hair- I'm feeling the need for a change too! But I have convinced myself to wait until after my wedding. Of course, then there will be so many changes maybe I won't cut my hair after all!
short hair is definitely coming back... at least here in CA it is... a cute, long 60s bob with bangs chopped across (i'm thinking Krysten Ritter in Life Happens) could definitely be a cute look on you! love the dress! thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteI thought I was alone on having the urge to cut my hair. But like you then I end up regretting going to short because its hard to style it. So Im being strong too and keeping it long.Maybe I will get some long layers later on. Your tights are so cute.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely! I too have been feeling the urge to cut my hair off, but I know I'd regret it so Ive had to make due with wearing it up all the time.
ReplyDeleteI love your hair! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your cardigan and shoes. The cardigan is so adorable. I love it!

ReplyDeleteThat dress is just so adorable! It looks so amazing on you! I have been feeling the short hair urge lately too, but I'm resisting because my hair is the longest it has been in forever.
