This weekend we packed ourselves up and headed over to the pumpkin patch. We had never been to this particular patch, so we didn't really know what we were in for. Wow. This place was pretty amazing! Rock climbing, bounce houses, jousting, a little "cow train", local bbq... well, there were so many things we couldn't even begin to get around to doing everything in one day. Here are some (a lot!) of clips from our day:
The actual patch where you pick the pumpkins left a little to be desired, but we were there at the end of the day... not to mention it being a pretty rough year for those poor pumpkins. All-in-all it was a really good day. We finished the night at our new favorite diner, and then we all came home and slept like little babies.
P.S. I can't believe how much the girls have grown since last year! ALSO. We missed you, Denbows!
Lovely pics and I really like that comfy sweater (cardigan?) you´re wearing!
ReplyDeleteOh this place looks absolutely perfect! Here we only have the really really sad looking ones in the mall parking lot :(
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that! I love autumn fun!

What a fun day! Cute sweater btw :]
ReplyDeleteThey really have gotten so much bigger! We had to try two different patches this year because the first one had shut down due to low pumpkin volume. Bummer. I think the second place must've shipped a bunch in from somewhere because they were all the same size and in great shape. ha!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of Johnny. SO funny. Also, your sweater, and those cow train carts. We made it out to Rutledge-Wilson once to see the animals but I remember Rachel Burch, our neighbor, saying how good their pumpkin patch (etc.) was. Glad you had fun! Did they have a corn maze there? ;)
There was no corn maze because of the drought. Sad, right? We had a good time, but we just kept saying "man, I sure wish those Denbows were still around." We love you guys and hope to see you sooner rather than later. <3
DeleteLooks like you guys had a wonderful time! That looks like a lot fun. I absolutely love the fall.

All the bloggers I see have such cool pumpkin patches! Ours is so lame other than the haunted hay ride that has a bunch of guys chasing each other with chain saws and something like that.
