Faux Bob

I did a fun little post over on A Beautiful Mess yesterday on how to style long hair into a bob.  It's a pretty convincing hairstyle... meaning, I may or may not have sent that picture to several people telling them that I cut my hair.  Good times.

(And just so you know, I love short hair... just not on me.  Why?  Because I end up wearing my hair in pigtails for two years straight due to laziness.)

    totally believable and cute! you have such fun ideas for hair. i am totally the opposite where if i have long hair, it only ever goes up into a pony tail out of sheer laziness. i need the shorter length to be able to take the time to dry it or put any effort into it.

    I laughed aloud when I read that you may or may not have sent that picture. That it something I would totally do!!!! I saw this earlier today on A beautiful Mess and quickly pinned it to pinterest. It is truly amazing. I can't wait to try it. I think short curly hair is soooo cute. But Alas my hair is strait (so strait people think I flat iron it) I had it short a couple years ago and I loathed it. Now its super long again and I love to rag curl it so this I've got to try! :) KATIE.YOU.ARE.A.GENIUS.

    I did something similar to this a while back, and everyone at work freaked out because they thought I'd cut about a foot of hair off over night! I wasn't even trying but it certainly provokes a fun reaction. And is a cute way to mix it up a bit - looks great on you!
