Happy Birthday, Dear

We had such a lovely time this weekend.  Our destination changed and the time was cut a little short, but we still had an amazing time together.  Sometimes all you need is a little time to hang out with your best friend and you feel instantly recharged. 

My little sweetheart Hope made us each an anniversary present.  For me it was a bow, and for Johnny it was a bow tie.  Both were made from clothes pins, duct tape, and paper.  It was the sweetest gesture.

Today is my love's birthday.  Out of all of us, he has the smallest role on this blog, but it isn't because he is the least important.  He saves my butt everyday.  He is the most helpful husband, caring father, and talented person I know.  He is humble, quiet, hilarious, and giving.  I'm so thankful for him.

Happy Birthday, Johnny.  We love you.  xoxo Katie
