Weekly Wears: Coffee Break

The weather here in Missouri has been AMAZING.  I don't want to rub it in if you are in an area that is still blazing hot... just know that sooner or later you'll be enjoying this perfect weather where you are! 

We've been taking walks, having picnics on blankets, trampoline-ing... basically, anything we can do outside, we are doing.  Oh yeah... and the coffee!  PERFECT COFFEE WEATHER.  (What weather isn't perfect coffee weather, really?)

Dress:  Red Velvet
Cardigan:  Target (kids)
Tights:  c/o We Love Colors
Shoes:  Swedish Hasbeens (borrowed from Elsie)
Headband:  Strange Folk Festival 
(I'm a jerk- I can't remember the vendor)

Johnny shot these pictures for me two days ago.  Yesterday I got my bangs cut.  I'm actually glad my hair is "normal" in these, because I'm still adjusting to the bangs and not yet ready to share them with the world.  Isn't it funny... you get all hyped for a haircut and once it's done you're kinda like, "Meh."  You'll see them next week.  For now I'm going to hide my head.  Just kidding.  Kind of.

    My mom is out in Springfield (where we're from) visiting right now and she said the same thing! Last time I was there in April, it rained non-stop!!

    The weather here has been beautiful! And, it has been perfect coffee weather :)

    Glad you are enjoying it where you are. It won't last long... Fall never lasts long enough. Love your pictures, and I am sure your bangs look lovely.

    Love the outfit. You are so cute :-) I just cut my bangs as well. I was really nervous about it because I have not had bangs since high school (aka - a loooong time ago). I like it though. Every time I look in the mirror, I think, "well hey hot stuff" :-)

    Where I live, it is still really hot. I just can't bring myself to have a Pumpkin Spice latte until I can wear tights and a cardigan. Just can't do it.

    i know what you mean about the hair... i chopped my hair off a couple months ago, then about a month ago got a newer short style. only just the last few days have i started liking my hair, but i'm definitely growing it back. i'm sure the bangs are adorable on you!

    I love how we can both shop in the kids section at target! I have that same cardi in beige and so does my daughter! target kids is how we can do mother daughter matching clothes! i love it! you looked adorable, but you know this already ;)

    Your headband is killing me. SO cute! Bangs usually need a few days to look perfect, it's like they're really excited to be there for a few days...then they calm down and look awesome.

    I have to ask what you do to keep your red hair so pretty? I just started coloring my blonde hair red and it has faded so so fast 4 weeks later its more of an orange blonde than auburn red. Tips?
