I love the surf pop sound! Her voice reminds me a bit of Victoria Legrand or Hope Sandoval- two women I admire as artists. I will have to check out an album.
Love this song. My husband saw them a while back at the Scion Garage Fest in Lawrence, KS with a ton of other bands. He said they were one of the highlights!
Just found your blog from a twitter suggestion - odd!? But the first thing I see when I visited the page was Best Coast. Now that deserves some attention no matter what the rest of the content over here is. I've never seen someone else share it before. Reminds me of a road trip I took with friends a while ago. We played this album on repeat for most of the way there.
