Weekly Wears: Heat Wave

Heat Wave.  Are you singing that song in your head right now?  I am.

Summer is officially here in Missouri!  The people on the radio say we're going through a heat wave and I definitely believe them!  We've been staying cool by swimming as much as we can, eating lots of fruit, and enjoying the air conditioning every second we are inside.

Like my hair flip?  That was just for you.  Okay, not really.  It's a nervous habit.

Dress:  borrowed from Elsie
Belt:  thrifted
Tights:  Target
Shoes:  borrowed from Elsie
Sunglasses:  Target

I know what you're thinking-- "You're having a heat wave and still wearing tights?"  I told you, sometimes I have trouble with summer wear.  I just like tights.  Plus, if you go any place around here they will have their air cranked.  You will turn into a popsicle if you don't come prepared.  ;)

I'm so happy Friday is here!  What are you up to this weekend?  I need some fun time ideas!

    The heat is coming to Berlin too, it´s getting craaazy (especially when the air condition´s not working in the office) :)

    I thought you just had the same dress as Elsie, didn't realise it was actually first! And I think we're wearing the same nail polish - Barry M Mint Green? Good choice =)

    Super cute outfit! :) I agree with you about tights and layers even in the summer -- I always freeze indoors when they have the a/c cranked up!! Especially in movie theaters - brrr!

    That's exactly what I was thinking. I always have to bring a little scarf or a cardigan just in case. Air-conditioning IS cold.
