Feature Friday: The Velvet Bird

Oh my goodness!  How did I forget to share the fact that I got to meet and hang out with sweet Vanessa a couple of weeks ago?!  Well, I did, and I have to say, she is one of the most genuinely nice, adorable, and interesting girls out there.  Bonus?  She sews her own clothes and is into natural skin care.  I wish we lived closer so we could have sewing/face mask/popcorn parties.  (<---Okay, I don't remember if she's a popcorn eater, but I think a party isn't complete without popcorn... mostly because I ADORE it!) 

The day we met up we had a try-on session at Red Velvet, drank bubble tea and ate cupcakes, and I got lost more than once (I'm a bad navigator!)  As we were going for coffee I got an emergency phone call from Johnny and Hope, letting me know that the place they were visiting had closed and kicked them out!  We rushed over and saved the day.  We're practically super heroes.

Did I forget to mention she has goats?  Oh, yeah... she has goats (!).

This weekend we have BOWLING PLANS (my favorite!), two graduations to attend, and Hope is cooking us dinner.  Yum, yum!
