I randomly discovered this girl/boy duo the other night, and after I was done
watching their videos I made Johnny come in and watch them with me.
They are so much fun!
Their name is Pomplamoose, and if you like these videos you should
definitely check out more of their stuff! The last video is
my favorite! Happy Monday!
xoxo Katie
My favorite are their covers! I love Single Ladies and Telephone better than the originals, but my favorite is September: http://www.youtube.com/user/PomplamooseMusic#p/c/F125407272F3C1A4/5/xycnv87N_BU
ReplyDeleteI almost think half the fun of their music is WATCHING them! She is too cute and both of their facial expressions and reactions to each other crack me up and make me feel all bubbly inside. I'd definitely just listen to them on my ipod, their music is great, but the videos are a real treat. Thank you for sharing!

Last September I introduced an amazing creativity of the YouTube phenomenon known as Pomplamoose to all my peers. The band duo, made up of Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn, found their niche creating “VideoSongs” and uploading them on YouTube. A ”VideoSong” is a medium Jack Conte defines with two rules:
ReplyDeleteWhat you see is what you hear. (No lip-syncing for instruments or voice)
If you hear it, at some point you see it. (No hidden sounds)
Those two simple rules have allowed Pomplamoose to create some pretty awesome songs and covers that have garnered them millions of views and over 150,000 subscribers on YouTube. The talented duo continue to crank out new music all the time and even have begun selling their songs on iTunes. Here are a few of my favorite Pomplamoose videos I’ve found.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to share this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you gain knowledge, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.
ReplyDeleteNice blog here! I really love music and watching videos in my desire. And I usually drop anything just to stay tuned to the music. I copied the song and practiced singing it. That's my way of appreciating music. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMost denominations today play instruments to praise God, but historically instrumental music was often accepted only after much controversy. Introduction of instruments in denominations historically has often led to division.

This is the precise blog for anybody who desires to search out out about this topic. You notice so much its virtually hard to argue with you (not that I actually would need…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Great stuff, simply great!
ReplyDeleteI love the voices! This a great topic for discussion. I want some blogs like this to read soon.Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing so much about their music. Now that I've checked them out, no wonder they're really making it big! Their music is just so capturing. Thanks so much for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I always listen music because it could make me feel calm and more in passion of feelings. (Laughs) Music is an art form whose medium is sound and silence. Its common elements are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. Thank you.

I would definitely recommend this duo to my friends for their music genre is so remarkable and outstanding. Indeed, a new music icon duo is yet to be born. I just can’t help it but to watch their music videos and covers frequently. I am looking forward to watch and hear great musics from them sooner.
