I do love rompers! I'm not sure I could pull them off being 5'9"...but I'm so sure you'd be completely adorable in them! Especially that 1st one...it's just great! They all are! Have a delicious Friday! xo
I am only 5'4", but didn't care. I had to have one. Of course I had to wear leggings under mine since it's still too cold for bare legs here. But you should totally rock one. So cute! Love the first two. xo p.s. congrats on the little birdie you won, adorable!
I think you'd look super adorable in all of these rompers! Me? Not so much... But if I were you I'd defs go for the ones from Urban Outfitters, Lulus, Ruche, and Bona Drag! :)
i have a really comfy one, and i LOVE it... perfect to just throw on and go! i <3 the 2nd and 3rd ones, totally cute :-) i think the key is to just wear it and not take yourself too seriously, and also, to find one that is super adorable!
I love rompers and I'm pretty sure anybody can pull them off, it's just about what you feel comfortable about your body that you're showing off. I was really uneasy about the idea of wearing one, but I just want one to wear only around the house for those hot days. I stress only around the house because I'm not a fan of my hips/thighs.
I managed to find a really cute light denim pair at Forever 21. They happened to be the last pair in the style I picked and two sizes too big. Needless to say I love wearing them around the house and they keep me nice 'n' cool. And with it being not form fitting I'm a little bit more confident to try to wear them outside of the house.
Also, there are so many ways to wear them in the so many styles they come in! If you just get a simple pair, then you could really liven it up so many ways with tights or layer shirts underneath.
ell, jumpers are in a way cute.... but in another way NOT. :) not too sure how i can complain it, but it definitely think i will NEVER wear one :) but as most here, i am sure that it will look cute on you :D
I love rompers, and yes, I definitely think you could pull one off. The trick is finding one that will fit the length of your torso. I've found that vintage ones fit me best. Most new ones are too short! I love the round-up you found though. That last one would be so fun for a 4th of July party!
Oh my! The third one is so adorable!! I am like you, like rompers on others but am not sure if I can pull them off. Though I think I am going to try with that romper!!
HI there. I'm just going to be frankly opinionated (mine): I think anything named a "romper" doesn't belong on a grown woman's body, no matter what the body type. I think they're a little silly, not to mention the having to disrobe yourself to go to the toilet. That said, I think you can mimic the look with shorts and a fitted shirt without looking like you stepped out of barbie's house 1978. :)
I love these. I have a couple and today I'm adjusting a vintage hand-me-down I was given. It has knee length shorts and i'm making them shorter. Rompers are so easy to wear and if you just treat it like a dress I don't think they look silly at all.
Yay x 100! Romper wearers unite and do not be ashamed! I love them.
I think that the secret is not showing too much skin by wearing a cardi or tights. And the long butt look (I know exactly what you are talking about : ) can be avoided with a belt or something to accentuate your waist.
The third one is the only one i think is cute. But then again my uniform is jeans ans and a t, so I really don't know much about fashion. But I think the others are a little goofy if you are not a toddler=) But you could pull them all off cause you are just awesome like that!
I have a pretty awkward shaped body.. like I'm really top heavy, but I have a bunch of really cute rompers & I love to wear them! There's so many different styles & best thing to do is to try some on & see what fits you best!
i bought a romper back in the beginning of the new year, but couldn't work up the nerve to wear it until last month. i wore it with tights, and i think it looked super cute. one thing though, i was out for dinner and drinks..and had the urge to go to the bathroom. i don't know why the thought hadn't crossed my mind beforehand, but having to remove my entire outfit just to pee! don't know that i'll be wearing it again. =[ but i do love it! so torn.

ReplyDeleteI think rompers look weird. They do look good on those photos, but I just can't imagine anybody wearing them in real live...
ReplyDeleteI bought a romper months ago and haven't got the courage to wear it yet. I love them though! You would look adorable in one!
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd one is my favorite!

ReplyDeleteHere's the thing: some of them kind give that long butt effect. I definitely DON'T want that. ;))
ReplyDeleteDefiantly a yay! They're so cute and very feminine, plus very flattering. Go for it!

I love the navy, red & white ones :) I probably wouldn't wear them these days, maybe a few years ago I would of, before I had kids.

ReplyDeleteA big YES. I call these playsuits - I was expecting babies in all-in-ones when I clicked on this! lol I'm in England, maybe that's it.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, I love these! I'm looking forward to getting some this summer :)
