Ray Lamontagne. That voice, those lyrics, that emotion... wrap it all into one pretty cd and you may be crying by the end. Ray's music is very personal and special to me. Sometimes I feel embarrassed saying that because he's a perfect stranger (besides the time I saw him in concert), but his music can evoke such strong feelings in me. I guess that is proof of a really great songwriter.
We are musical soulmates. I love Ray Lamontagne! I have vinyl copies of two of his albums and have them and another downloaded. His voice moves me...

My husband and I walked out of the chapel as husband and wife to "you are the best thing" by ol' Ray. It was the perfect, joyous song to start out our marriage with. I still get teary when I hear it.
