'Tis Thursday...

I was hoping to do my next shop update tomorrow, but it just isn't going to happen.  The next official shop update will be Friday, February 5th!  So, mark your calendars!  I'm hoping to have a variety of things, but you can definitely count on more cupcakes!  I'm loving them right now.  :)

In other news... sometimes having money is harder than not.  Okay, so you may be thinking I'm totally crazy at this point, but when I have special occasion money (like the birthday $ that hasn't left my death grip) sometimes it's hard finding the exact perfect thing to spend it on.  I usually pick dresses.  I was trying to switch it up and do something more daring, but then someone sweet shared her favorite secret vintage shop with me, and now I think I need dresses.  I bought this one today:


I can't wait for it to get here!!!  I have a few more on my list, but I think I'm looking for some shoes next...

And, I'm wearing this green pretty today:


It was one of my birthday presents from Johnny and Hope.  
I hope you all have a wonderful evening.  We're supposed to get some inclement weather, and I kinda have my fingers crossed that we really do!  xoxo Katie

    one of my twenty10 resolutions was to wear more dresses...however, i forgot to consider the fact i'll be breasfeeding most of this year. hiking a dress all the way up to feed the baby isn't so appealing (to me or any who may be present!)
    maybe i'll just spend twenty10 stocking up... :)

    So, though I am a guy, I will say I do love your sense of style. The dress is quite nice. I think it has to do with always having best friends that are girls.

    Man, I'm going to be out of town next Friday, so odds of me being near a computer during a shop update are kind of slim. My best friend really covets your little plushies (especially the Narwhals) and I was hoping to secure a lovely birthday present for them, even though their birthday isn't for a while, I wanted to know I had the perfect gift for them...maybe I will get lucky and be on when one is available again sometime...

    i have that problem too ! i can never figure out what to buy either .. it usually ends up being clothes though . gotta love clothes , can't go wrong with an updated wardrobe !

    Katie, that green dress is out of control. I love it.
    Can I ask what kind of lens you have on your camera? I just got my first DSLR today and am nervous about foraying into the world of lenses.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Oooo love that green dress. Looks super comfy! More often than not extra spending money goes towards photog stuff - another Diana lens, prints, etc. :)

    christinaalessi: The lens on my camera is a Canon 17-55mm 2.8. I would recommend getting a 50mm lens first. It's the next thing on my list, and honestly, I wish I would've gotten it first. :)
