Boy mouse needs a new photo, because his face looks stretched, but he isn't like that in real life. Also, I don't love the black background. It's a little harsh, I think.
A velvet gentleman owl- who was REALLY hard for me because the feeling of velvet makes me gag! Worth it, though.

I also have 9 (I think) necklaces and I'm going to try to make another item or 2 tonight. So, that's a nice little beginning, and gives people plenty of time for Valentine's shopping, if they wish.

ReplyDeleteI don't like the feel of velvet either. I always get goosebumps! My parents had a velvety couch when I was growing up. I hated it! Just thinking about it now gives me goosebumps! :) But you did a wonderful job on him! He is handsome!!

ReplyDeletelol at textural aversions. i like velvet, but there's a kind of velvet that really bothers me. it's like a cross between felt and velvet. i think my best friend in elementary school had a flute case that was lined with it.

ReplyDeleteURGH I am so glad to know I'm not the only one who can't stand the feel of velvet! Although like Nathalie I am way more intolerant with the velvet/felt crossover, that stuff should be outlawed.

My MIL says I have texture issues because I wasn't exposed enough to them as a child. I have a lot: velvet or velour, cotton balls (ack!!!), sand, chalk, that icky soft dusty gross fabric they make like every stuffed animal with these days, and fleece. I think that's it. I make Hope touch these things a lot.
